Refund policy
Returns, withdrawal, size exchanges and refunds
This policy distinguishes the statutory right of withdrawal available to consumers for distance purchases from our commercial size-exchange procedure.
1. Statutory right of withdrawal
If you purchase as a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods, without giving any reason.
You may notify us of your withdrawal by sending an unequivocal statement to info@spinternational.it, to our certified email spinternationalsrl@cert.cna.it, or through the other contact channels shown on the website. You may also use any electronic withdrawal function made available through the online interface.
After notifying us, you must return the goods without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of that notice.
2. Condition of returned goods
You may examine the product only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. You are liable only for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for that examination.
To make the return process easier, please return the product with its packaging, accessories, labels and original materials where still available. Missing original packaging does not automatically remove the statutory right of withdrawal, without prejudice to any legally relevant diminished value.
3. Return costs
For a standard withdrawal, direct return costs are borne by the customer unless otherwise stated or agreed. If the product is defective, damaged or non-conforming, costs necessary to provide the remedy due under the statutory guarantee are borne by the seller within the limits of applicable law.
4. Refund
For a valid withdrawal, we refund payments received for the returned goods, including any standard delivery charge paid for the order, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of the withdrawal. Extra costs resulting from the customer's choice of a more expensive delivery method than the least expensive standard option offered are excluded.
Refunds are normally made using the same payment method used for the purchase. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or until the customer provides evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
5. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply in cases excluded by law, including goods made to measure or clearly personalised and the other cases provided by Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code. Any exclusion applicable to a specific product is indicated before purchase.
6. Commercial size exchange within 15 days
In addition to statutory withdrawal rights, SP Helmets offers a size exchange within 15 days of delivery, subject to replacement-size availability.
For a size exchange, the product must not have been used beyond normal fitting, must be in a condition suitable for resale and, where available, include original labels, accessories and packaging. Return shipping is paid by the customer; SP Helmets covers shipment of the replacement item for the first size exchange unless otherwise communicated before the request is accepted.

8. Defective or non-conforming products
Requests relating to defective or non-conforming products are handled under the statutory conformity guarantee described in the Terms and Conditions. This return procedure does not limit any mandatory consumer rights.
